Animal Control

Animal control services are provided by: Eau Claire County Humane Society

Please contact the Eau Claire Communication Center at 715-839-4972 for any complaints of animals running at large, biting, making unnecessary loud noise, or being treated inhumanely. If there is a dog or cat running at large, a humane office will not be dispatched without you first having contained (i.e. leashed, in garage, kennel, or fenced yard) the animal for pickup.

Available 7 days a week from the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 p.m. 715-839-4747

After 5:00 p.m. callers with animal related issues can call the Eau Claire non-emergency line and they will be given info on what they can do.  If the case is a true emergency (abuse, injured animal, hoarding case) then the call center will know how to contact our Humane Officer.
